Understanding the concept of CBSE Patrachar

Initiated by the Government of India, CBSE Patrachar was started in order to make education easily accessible to children who cannot continue with regular schooling. It is a concept that provides education to those who have dropped out of regular school due to financial issues or other problems that keep them away from going to school every day.

Interestingly, these open schools are recognised by CBSE board that enable the student to sit for board examinations in 10th and 10+2 classes. Moreover, the structure of classes and curriculum offered by CBSE Patrachar offers flexibility to attend the classes as per the students’ convenience.

Flexibility in classes
It is not always necessary that pursuing education from open school is the result of a student’s poor performance. There can be many other reasons such as economically weaker background, family concerns and need of part- time job. Thus, studying from open school is the best alternate for them which lets them make an earning without compromising with their education.

CBSE Patrachar offers complete flexibility to the students to choose the number of classes they want to or would be able to attend in order to complete their entire course. In addition, it does not require commitment to attend the classes every day.

The no. of classes varies from three to five days a week in morning to evening batches. Moreover, students can also attend the classes in weekend as per their availability and convenience.

Type of classes
CBSE Patrachar usually comprises of classes for students who are drop out and focuses on helping them clear 10th and 12th class board exams. The curriculum of these classes is designed in sync with CBSE’s regular schooling curriculum to keep the students stay in the race of regular students.

Thus, it provides admission to those who leave their studies in 9th or 11th standard. To help them clear the exams and grab better career opportunities, they provide one on one attention to each student giving them a fare chance to perform better in the next attempt.

Process of application
Applying for open school admission is extremely easy even if a student has not completed the entire year of a particular standard. The student does not even need to repeat the same year and get the admission in the next year. For instance, a student who has not completed 9th standard may apply directly for 10th standard without repeating the 9th standard.

The student can simply go to CBSE Patrachar’s website and fill up the admission assistance form or they can go to the headquarters in Delhi to take the form. If the student fulfils  basic criteria then it is just a plain simple cake walk for them to resume their education.

It is important to note that the information provided in the form should be correct otherwise the student has to face a lot of difficulties in getting through the admission process.
